MISSION

 

As Sales Manager for Latin America, you will drive business growth by developing and managing a strong network of distributors and partners across the region. You will work closely with internal teams and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to promote EMS's full product portfolio in dental, urology, and shock wave therapy markets.

This role reports to the General Manager – Latin America and requires close collaboration with global and local stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and commercial success across the region.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Sales & Channel Development

  • Manage, support, and grow EMS’s distributor and dealer network across the Latin American region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in line with EMS’s objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dental universities, and other clinical stakeholders to support brand advocacy.
  • Monitor and drive local sales performance through regular meetings, field visits, and business reviews with partners.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial contracts with distributors and key customers.

 

Market Development & Training

  • Support training and education efforts in collaboration with the Swiss Dental Academy (SDA), ensuring that clinical stakeholders are properly trained on EMS protocols (e.g. GBT – Guided Biofilm Therapy).
  • Coordinate marketing activities, congresses, workshops, and other promotional events in alignment with global strategy.
  • Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities, particularly in underdeveloped markets.

 

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans for the region.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product development or strategy adjustment.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and submit regular sales reports to the management team.

 

EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or business development, ideally in the dental, medical device, or healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with distributors or dealer networks across multiple countries.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and training abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–60% of the time).
  • Location: Latin America (Flexible within the region)
