MISSION
As a Staff Accountant, you will report to the Head of Finance, supporting EMS’s financial operations by managing accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Your role is essential in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting & Financial Transactions:
- Record all accounting transactions related to purchase-to-pay & order-to-cash cycles.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Follow up on aging balances and send customer payment reminders.
- Maintain and organize financial records in compliance with policies.
Financial Reporting & Closing:
- Support period-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a new ERP system.
Compliance & Policy Adherence:
- Ensure all financial activities align with GAAP standards and internal policies.
- Secure, maintain, and manage financial files and records.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with GAAP knowledge.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.

POSITION DETAILS
Location: Southlake, Texas
Work Setting: Office-based with 1 remote day per week
Salary : $55'000.00 to $60'000.00 per year + benefits
